Making a New House Feel Like Home
After leaving their home of 30 years, this client struggled to make their new space feel like home again. They wanted a fresh, unique look while maintaining a sense of familiarity. With a relaxed vibe and a desire for interesting interiors, I began with the kitchen and family room.
Working within the limitations of the existing flooring and kitchen, I made a surprise suggestion to completely re-site the dining table, creating a more open and functional layout. By choosing a fabulous wallpaper from an independent designer, we brought personality and warmth into the space, creating a comfortable and stylish environment that felt both new and nostalgic, reflecting the client’s needs and tastes.
